First things first,
It's 'Your' Wedding, Period.
Don't listen to what everyone else wants.
Do what is right for you. Plan wedding to your love story and do what you want. Now, here are the big two things you need to remember.
Amanda & William's Wedding, Collingwood Children's Farm. 23 Jan 2022.
1.You’re Not Awkward.
It’s normal to feel a bit awkward when a camera is on you.
But the idea that some people can look good in photos without guidance and some can’t isn’t true.
It's about how well these two matches - Photographer’s approach & couple’s values.
Photography styles vary. Some focus on curated, posed shots for a polished look, great for editorial styles. Others great in observation and capture what’s happening naturally for those who prefer real-life documentation.
It's all about what resonates with you. You’re not awkward. Trust me.
2.Life Makes Photos.
This one fleeting day is all about you having the best time ever.
Everyone makes new memories. Things get messy, and those mess ups turn into fun moments. People dance, People laugh, People cry. Stories are told, and interesting moments happens.
What real moment itself presents will always be more interesting, meaningful and powerful than any set of trending poses or curated aesthetics. And weddings just happen to be a wild real moments packed into a single day.
I’d miss it all if I tried to step in and make something.

I know you’ll get super excited, nervous, jittery— but don't forget to eat and drink throughout the day so that you are ready for any moments.
Get your snack box ready a night or two before the wedding.
Touch up kit
With all the running around, you may need some touch-ups throughout the day.
Pack a kit with Q-tips, blotting paper, bobby pins, waterproof mascara and lipstick + whatever you think you'll need!
Timeline
On your wedding day, things often take longer than expected, and mishaps like misplaced boutonnieres or unexpected traffic can happen.
